Austin attended Heritage Christian Academy for many years. Those of you familiar with Christian or private schools know that these communities can be a tight knit group. That is certainly true of Heritage and they are feeling the loss of a former student and a good friend. Tomorrow morning, Heritage will hold a prayer service in honor of Austin and support of the Whetsell family. The service is mostly for the heritage community but is open to anyone who wants to pray for the family. Debbie Rogers (Heritage Board member) asked me to pass along the details:

WHEN: 10:00 AM, Friday, July 6
This event will include families with small children and out of respect for them and sensitivity to these tender hearts we are asking the press not to attend. We appreciate all the work the press has done getting the word out about the search and the memorial fund but please give these families some distance. Thank you for your understanding.
